How long does a portrait take to complete? Your highly detailed pet portrait can take anything from five to fifty hours depending on the size, number of pets and complexity of the animals. If you need your artwork for a specific date, please let me know HERE when ordering so I can do my best to accommodate you on my waiting list.
Do you paint from photos? Yes. I generally work from one favourite photo but to ensure I achieve the best likeness, it helps to have extra photos or even a short video. I base my work solely on images supplied by you, but if we live in close proximity and can both make the time, I’d love to meet up with you and your animal friend/s.
What does the price include? All prices are quoted for artwork only painted using the highest quality artists’ watercolours on heavyweight Arches cold-press watercolour paper.
Will my portrait be framed? No. I do not supply artwork framed as it becomes very difficult to post safely and an unframed work gives you the opportunity to coordinate the style and colour of the framing with the intended wall space and its surrounds.
